Delivery Information


Free next day delivery when you spend £25 or more!

If you order before 11.30am Monday to Friday, we can ensure that your delicious Laughing Dog food arrives with you the next working day (UK mainland only; if you live in one of the post code areas detailed below delivery times may be slightly longer and there may be a small charge). Orders under £25 will have a £4.95 postage charge added to the basket total. Please note that we do not deliver at the weekend. Orders placed at the weekend or on a bank holiday will leave our farm bakery on the next available working day.

Personalised dog gifts

We make all of our dry food right here on the family farm and our personalised bones are made to order. Please allow 5-7 working days for delivery of personalised dog treats and hampers (…we think you’ll agree that they are worth the wait!).

DPD tracking & delivery

Deliveries are be made with our nominated courier service DPD. All parcels are trackable and DPD will send you a tracking link if a mobile number and email address is provided when you place your order. You don’t need to be available to accept your Laughing Dog food delivery at your address as the tracking link sent by DPD will allow you to add delivery instructions to leave in a safe place if you wish.

Due to poor weather conditions or other events outside of our reasonable control, a late or cancelled delivery may occur.


Missed deliveries

Please note, it is the responsibility of each customer to accept all deliveries and to ensure that they are either at home or leave a ‘safe place’ note on their respective delivery consignment, if not home to directly accept the parcel. This delivery message must be added via the DPD app alongside an image of the specific safe place that is requested.

If a delivery is missed and further instructions are not provided for DPD via the app, Laughing Dog will not be held responsible for the goods. If a parcel is thereafter returned to Laughing Dog, the customer will be automatically refunded for their order, minus a £6.14 return charge.

Incorrect address / missing details

It your responsibility to ensure that your address details are correct – ensuring a full address is detailed. You will receive a copy of your order details via email. Once your order is shipped, we cannot make any amends for you. We cannot accept responsibility for any failed deliveries due to incorrect or missing address details.


Do you live in a flat or university accommodation?

Please note that DPD drivers are only insured on ground floor. Therefore, to avoid your parcel being left in a communal area please add ‘call me’ instructions to your delivery, or a ‘safe place’ – that does not go above ground floor. You can do this via your DPD delivery email and SMS notifications. If this has not been done in advance of your delivery, we are unable to raise this parcel as lost via DPD, and will not be able to replace the items.

We can only accept customer orders for delivery to addresses in England, Wales and Scotland, although restrictions and additional delivery charges may apply to the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Northern Scotland, Scottish Highlands and Offshore Islands. Addresses in Scottish Highlands (postcodes starting IV, AB, FK, HS, KA, KW, PA and PH), Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland (postcodes starting BT).

Orders over 65kg

Please note, orders exceeding 65kg may be shipped via Kimes. In these instances, you will be contacted by a member of the team. Delivery via Kimes may take 3-5 working days. Applies to UK Mainland only.

Delivering outside of the UK

Before you place an order for delivery, please read our terms and conditions and returns policy. If we need to make a fresh batch of food and there is going to be a delay, we will pop you a call or email to keep you informed of your delivery date.

Promotional Deliveries (reduced delivery cost & free delivery)

Please note, promotional delivery orders (under 2kg, e.g. up to x6 packets of treats) will take up to 5 working days and will be shipped via Royal Mail (in these instances, please ignore all delivery notifications and emails from DPD as these are automated and will not be relevent). Select the promotional delivery option at checkout to qualify. Unfortunately, at this time, not all promotional delivery offers will be applicable to non-UK mainland areas. Subscription Deliveries

As a mainland UK resident, you will be entitled to free delivery when you subscribe to our Laughing Dog Food Subscription Service, and all deliveries will be with you in 2-3 working days.

However, please note, addresses outside of the mainland UK (according to DPD) may face an additional charge on subscription deliveries, based on the weight and post code of the specific order. Addresses in Scottish Highlands (postcodes starting IV, AB, FK, HS, KA, KW, PA and PH), Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland (postcodes starting BT).
