Here at Laughing Dog we believe that every dog has the right to a healthy and happy life. And as you’ve probably guessed, we absoutely love helping to make dogs happy with our deliciously slowly oven-baked grain free and wheat free dog food…!
This month the team at Laughing Dog were lucky enough to meet local charity Fen Bank Greyhound Sanctuary. Based at Friskney near Skegness in Lincolnshire, Fen Bank Greyhound Sanctuary is 100% dedicated to helping to protect and rehome ex-racing greyhounds. Currently they look after over 30 dogs from all ages and backgrounds – from trainers, the police, the RSPCA and welfare groups. As passionate dog lovers ourselves, here at Laughing Dog it was so interesting to hear about how the charity is working hard to re-home the dogs, as well as their plans for the future – and, of course, we were very proud to be able to donate some of our wheat free dog food to our new furry friends. Our bakers love to see wagging tails, and that was certainly the result…!
