If possible, try to go for a material that is easy to clean and unbreakable. Ensuring they are non-tippable or unable to slide around on the floor will be helpful too!

A lead and collar with ID tag

These are legal requirements, and you must keep checking they still fit as your puppy grows. You should comfortably be able to fit two fingers under the collar.

A snuggly bed

To keep your puppy feeling cosy and safe (essential for when they first arrive as it helps them to settle in).
