Our bakers have chosen Betty the 2-year-old Maltese x Yorkshire Terrier as our February Dog Happy Moment. Her hooman family met her at just 3 weeks and it was love at first sight…!
Betty’s hooman mum says, ‘I love so much about her, she’s beautiful, clever and loves to learn new things… she’s a bit of a brain box (she’s a trick dog).’
Betty absolutely adores people and is always 100% dog happy when meeting with new people. She loves everyone and always expects belly rubs in return, rolling onto her back waiting for them to oblige.
Along with all of Betty’s beautiful qualities, she is a therapy dog and visits her local hospital’s stroke and dementia ward on a weekly basis, helping people with every visit.
Both Betty and her mum love to have a bit of a sleep in first thing and being snuggled up in bed is Betty’s dog happy place, along with the local museum gardens…. when she gets out of bed that is!
