Land Rover gives dogs the 5 star treatment
Down at the farm, we are huge fans of the Land Rover. Crossing muddy fields, tackling off-road terrain in all weathers – we are grateful for a farm vehicle that’s reliable, dependable and has plenty of room for our four-legged companions. Our family farm dogs love going for rides in the countryside – although it’s impossible not to let them have the windows down; always lots of new scents to discover, even in the pouring rain!
We were delighted to hear that Land Rover is going the extra mile for its four-legged friends. Did you know that they now offer pet packs?
Dog-friendly pet packs
Land Rover has launched a range of pet packs to pamper dogs and leave them in the lap of luxury. Pet packs include accessories like spill-resistant water bowls (very handy on a warm summer’s day!), access ramps, foldable pet carriers, tailored quilted load space liners and even portable showers (an item we’d love our farm dogs to utilise!).
Quilted load space liner
This super comy liner is designed to protect the floor, rear seat backs and side wall carpets from muddy paw prints. Manufactured from a soft quilted fabric with a rubber mat and detachable bumper protector, it is easy to wipe clean, tailored to fit the vehicle and extra soft for your favourite pooch!
Pet access ramp
The foldable pet access ramp is perfect for helping our more mature dogs or smaller dogs into the rear load space without the need to lift them and is capable of supporting up to 85kg. It features aluminium side panels and a plastic centre section with a high grip tread pattern and rubber feet to prevent it from slipping.
Pet carrier
Once inside, the foldable pet carrier provides a safe and comfortable way for dogs to travel. With a lightweight metal frame, quilted fabric cushion and net windows, the carrier is available alongside a 350ml spill-resistant water bowl. The practical design features a large lip and anti-slip rubber base to prevent water from escaping on everything but the roughest terrain.
Muddy puddles – part of the adventure!
Land Rover’s portable rinse system holds up to 6.5-litres of water and delivers up to five minutes of continuous flow depending on which of the five spray settings is being used. It is ideal for washing your pet or rinsing off wetsuits or muddy bikes
